Why we built Sewly: to make sewing your own clothes from any picture possible for everyone, with patterns that fit the body you have.
Most people who sew have the same story: a picture saved on their phone of something they would love to wear, and no pattern for it. Finding a close pattern, grading it, adjusting it to your body and printing forty pages before you know whether it suits you: that is where many projects stop.
Sewly closes that gap. An AI recognises the garment in your picture; a drafting engine built on the flat-pattern methods pattern makers use draws it to your measurements; a 3D preview shows you the result before you cut; and a sewing guide walks you through every step and answers your questions.
We are a small team of people who sew and people who build software. We are honest about what Sewly can draft today and add new garments regularly. If something does not work for you, write to us: we read everything.

Private by default
Your pictures, measurements and patterns are yours. They are used only to make your patterns, never shown to anyone or used to train AI models, and you can delete them at any time.
